Blackjack is easily one of the most popular casino card games today, in both online and land-based casinos. Partly because blackjack offers better odds than any other game and partly because the rules of play are very easy to grasp; in a short time even beginners can win big at this fun and exciting game.
The basic idea of the game is to beat the dealer, with a hand of two or more cards that equals the highest score without going over the limit of twenty-one (bust). It's that simple.
To begin the game, players place a bet and the dealer will distribute two face-up cards to the player, and two cards to himself; one face up, one face down. Then the player will have the choice to either stand with their cards or to draw another card (hit). A player can hit as many times as they like, however if the total score of the player's hand exceeds twenty-one, it is an automatic loss.
The scoring is calculated thus:
The payoff is one-to-one, however a blackjack is paid two-to-three, unless the dealer also gets a blackjack at the same time, in which case the game is declared a draw nobody wins or loses.
Originating in 17-th Century France, Roulette, French for "little wheel", has become one of the most popular casino games in both online and land-based casinos.
The rules of play are very simple, players bet against the house on which position a ball will land when spun around a spinning wheel. The roulette wheel is numbered one to thirty six with digits alternating red and black, and with the addition of a Zero on European Wheels, or a Zero and Double Zero in green on American wheels. European wheels offer 37-to1 odds, while the American wheels, with an additional number, offer odds of 38-to-1; both games pay out at a rate of 35-to-1.
To begin, each player buys roulette chips and places bets on the table in squares marked to represent the numbers on the wheel. The croupier will then spin the wheel in one direction and send the ball spinning around the wheel in the opposite direction.
Before the ball drops into a position, the croupier will call out "no more bets", after which point it is forbidden to touch the chips placed on the table.
The ball will eventually fall into one of the numbered slots on the wheel, designating the winning number. The croupier will then clear all losing bets off the table and distribute chips to winning bettors.
Other rules also come into play – if the ball falls on zero, a player with an even money bet will be allowed to either remove his bet or to keep it in the same position for a further spin, known as the "En Prison" rule.
The " La Partage" rule applies to outside even money bets, in which the player is allowed to keep half of their bet if the ball falls on zero, however the player may not leave the bet in place for another spin.

I just wanted to say thanks for all your help. I got my check today. Cashgurucasino was my first book to try online and I am glad to say I will recommend you to my friends. After all the horror stories that I heard about online casinos, I was a little hesitant to join. But you folks showed me that I had nothing to worry about. Thanks again. - JB
